COPY CAT

've seen a few people do this exercise where they google an image and then do a simple copy of the image. It's nice because I'm able to focus on color. I struggle a TON with color/lighting and saturation so it was guuud for me.

I googled: "Airplane", "tank" and "sail boat".

Eyes and Creature studies...

I did these like 6 months ago...they are a break away from the normal style I normally do...

HeroProj

Here is some old art work I did a little bit after I started at Smart Bomb Interactive...

It is for a little side projects a few of my co-workers and I played around with. The characters are somewhat modeled and rigged and we nailed down all of the story boards but that is as far as we have gotten...

These images are of the hero and his sidekick robot, it's pretty cheeezy but the story boards are action packed, "SHlaaaaPOW!"

Geoff Shupe (http://chromiumash.blogspot.com/) and I decided about 10 months ago to do some concept art for a story idea that we came up with. We haven't put ALL of our time into it, just a few hours here n' there.

I have had a fun time pushing myself in a different direction than I normally go with my art. It is a challenge but I have learned a ton. Most of these sketches (if not all) are rough, but I thought I would throw some of it up on the good ol' blog.
